Supplier Assessment
MAT Foundries Europe GmbH is certified according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001. We are also certified according to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
On a six-monthly basis, suppliers of quality-relevant components are assessed. Commodities are considered to be quality relevant if they have a direct influence on the quality of our product.
The following are quality-relevant products:
- Iron ore
- Carburization materials
- FeSiMg
- Innoculation materials
- Siliconizing materials
- Alloying materials (Copper,...)
- Quarz sands
- Auxiliary foundry materials
Major suppliers of services and pattern makers are assessed on an annual basis.
