Global Foot Print – MAT China Ltd.

With the ground-breaking ceremony in Dalian, a state-of-the-art foundry for sophisticated components made of grey cast iron (GJL) as well as safety parts made of spheroidal cast iron (GJS) is being developed in a “green field operation” on app. 130.000 m² in the province of Liaoning (China).

After the planned production start in the 2nd quarter 2012, the manufacturing of a wide range of mouldings engineered with German precision, will start on two vertical moulding plants.

Using our automated manufacturing processes we will start offering medium to large scale production with a total capacity of app. 40.000 t/year.

In addition to the production of castings there will be a downstream machining available on site. With the aim to supply high quality products to our customers from one source, we will meet the challenge not only in Europe but also in Asia.
